Southern Scenic Route extended to Queenstown
Very exciting! The biggest thing to happen since the SSR was first established nearly 25 years ago.
After lots of planning by the SSR Steering Group and discussion with local communities, the wonderful scenery and attractions between Queenstown and Te Anau have been absorbed into New Zealand's original and most diverse touring route.
Signage will soon be installed at Frankton, and regularly all the way to Five Rivers, Mossburn and Te Anau.
